2 tough chewer pups. One loves frisbees. When the corners were eaten after purchase I was going to wait to review. 7 months later it still has a semi working squeaker and the toy is still intact! I haven't had any red stains from this toy as other buyers have had.My dog loves the toy, perhaps too much. As she got it wet while tugging and chewing on it, the toy stained her nose, hair, my hands, and the carpet blue. The color seems to have come out with elbow grease, but my dog is disappointed that we will not be playing with the toy again until I can figure out some way to stop the color bleed.My dog loves this toy. It actually holds up to her pretty well considering she destroys everything pretty quickly. The issue is, she likes to suckle the corners and even just with regular tug and fetch, it gets slobbery, this is still okay - except when it touches the carpet and leaves pink stain everywhere. I tried washing it in the washing machine to see if it would stop after that - it didn't. If there was another color - I tried the orange one, and it didn't last. So unfortunately I cannot recommend this. There was a similar toy I used to get that was blue - and it didn't bleed color, but it's not available in anything but "mini" now which is too small. I agree this isn't a real "firehose" toy - it's just nylon webbing, and I'd be fine with that but even a toy my dog loves this much isn't worth destroying my $400 rug for. If you had it outside only? It might be fine. Oh yeah and it stains her face and paws pink too.Day one with my lab, frayed both sides by chewing…loves chasing but not durable.My kid made quick work of the squeakers. That’s okay w me though it’d be nice if it lasted longer. He still loves tossing it up in the air and catching it. Just a warning though - the red dye will come off on furniture, clothes, etc. I don’t think I had this problem w the green bumpers.My dogs love this toy! It's like the Holy Grail in our house. I keep up on sewing the edges up as they chew it. Keeps them from eating it. Im ordering 2 more today. My dogs are both immensely aggressive chewers. It is an awesome toy! Thank you. I have an industrial sewing machine fyi.My 40 lb doodle started fraying all corners of hose within 5 minutes of working on it.Trimmed it a few times already.Hope to get a few days out of it before I have to pitch it,for her safetyThese are the toughest toys I’ve ever found for my dog. She goes through “kongs’ within a couple of days. Although these get worn out, she can still play with them for at least a month. I’ve bought 3 of them, and she still has her 1st one, which continues to give her satisfaction. I keep them in separate rooms to enjoy. They’re worth their weight in gold.
