this toy is not made for chewers. it fell apart a week after i gave it to my 2 yr old dog.Lasted a few days, will have to resew it.This was a Christmas gift for my sons small/med size dog. The pull handle broke loose almost immediately.Very durableIt's really not that bad for the price. My 20 pound rat terrier mix took about to remove most of the parts (rope, eyes, tag) and has finally gotten to the stuffing. Why 3 stars. Because it is her favorite toy and it is our favorite toy to use when we play tug with her. Could be tougher but couldn't we all.This was a cute and attractive toy. The bottom part of the toy is covered in a very durable fabric, but the top, that is the fuzzy head, is not durable at all. It came apart within two days of play and I had white stuffing all over my house to clean up. The rope came off easily. The bottom part stayed in tact. My dog is an enthusiastic player and loves toys that squeak. She is a Blue Heeler / Lab mix of about 55 lbs. I thought this toy might last longer, but it did not. Do not recommend for medium to large dogs.I bought this at a local grocery store when I first adopted my 70 pound AmBull/StaffBull mix. I took it out of the bag and ripped the tag off it and he was jumping around being happy. When I gave it to him he carried it around and cried. In the 2.5 months he has had it, the eyes came off almost immediately and he has successfully chewed the rope off off it.The body its self is still intact and he carries it around and flips it across the yard and pounces it. He even cuddles it at night.It is his chosen favorite and when its finally gone he will be sad.For the price, I need to get him a few so I can replace them as they wear out. It makes my dog happy so I would say its worth it.Have you ever given a dog a toy and had him carry it around cry? I cant say what this dog has been through or what his life was like before I got him but if a toy touches his soul like that... its meaningful to him.Worthless. Our lab puppy demolished this in less than 15 minutes. You would think a company specializing in pet supplies would think to test their products before marketing them as "Tuff."No los sueltan mis perritas!!!
