This unit is very well made and presents very well. All the hardware was present and all holes lined up perfectly. The materials are of good quality and very decent for a put-together piece of furniture. The instructions for the most part were average. There were a few places directions could have been detailed and explained better. Be VERY attentive to which part is front vs back especially. There was one part incorrectly labeled with another. Another reviewer mentioned it before and I had the same mishap, but knew what to do due to his post. Definitely follow the order and each step per instructions or you will be taking it apart to address the part skipped. There is a rhyme and reason for each step...trust me. I would recommend assembling this on a rug or carpeted room or you risk scratching the finish on sliding pieces around on a hard floor. Although I'm very pleased with the finished results, the only real complaint I have is the overall price is steep. A price around $150 would be reasonable. Again, it's a more than decent unit, but the price leaves a lot to be desired. For this, I knocked off 1 star.
