Found out about these years ago, had larger ones for my German Shepherd and he loves them. Though my dachshunds are “chewers” they tend to lightly destroy them over time. While they do not/can’t totally tear them apart, they do perform “wear” to them, while still being functional.Currently have a foster Doxie that is ball crazy and got this smaller size for him. He LOVES it , brings it and chases it non stop. Granted, between his foster brothers and him, the squeakers are removed/history, but does not take away from his desire to play with it. While not totally indestructible for very determined aggressive chewers, these toys resist getting totally unusable, and last a long while being “broken in” . They have lasted years here and when one gets demo’d to the point of not useable, I have no problems getting a replacement.The entire product line is well made and durable, and highly recommend them.Wolves , tigers and determined Doxies , well ,,,, may not allow a long( though it takes a beating) lifeWhile it is made of a very durable material, it was no match for my little Jack Russell Terrier. She had it shredded to bits and pieces in about an hour.It would probably work best for dogs who like to chew and gnaw, but not eviscerate and shred their toys.I had hoped it would hold up to my dogs little teeth, but it was not to be. However, she really did enjoy destroying it, so it wins points for that.Purchased this via recommendation from a friend for my super tough chewer (30# hound/basenji mix) - this lasted the longest out of what we had tried to that point, but he still managed to very thoroughly destroy it. Would probably work well if the dog is a tough chewer, but not an extremely tough chewer.I’ve had several of these over the years. Although the squeakers don’t last long, the toy lasts a long time. I have two that are now over a year old. I have four wire fox terriers and most toys don’t make it an hour before they have them ripped to shreds. They love playing fetch with these. They fly like a frisbee. They cheap squeakers are the only reason I didn’t give four stars.Ignore the dummies that have given the toy a low rating because they use it as a chew toy. If you want a chew toy buy a chew toy.Dog loves it… this older bumper is at least 10 months old… I did buy a new replacement because he likes it so much. It squeaks and is nice to throw even in the wind because it is not light.This is a tuff little dog toy. Most of my dogs toys only last a few hours. This one lasts about 2 weeks. If your dog loves to chew, this is a toy that will give your pup hours and hours of anxiety relief or just pure fun. It comes with two sqeekers installed. They tend to wear out before the rest of the toy but my pup still loves to play with it after it stops sqeeking. This is the second one ive bought and will be buying more in the future.This is our second. Again the dog tore it apart but the problem is this time the dye is staining everything in my house. I have tried to soak all the dye out but to no avail. Stained again.Prior review:The pup was able to tear it a bit and destroyed the squeakers but overall it’s durable. It’s easy to play catch with which leads to hours (okay feels like hours) of funI bought this for our determined chewer and it does slow her destruction down. She's still able to get off strings of the material but not in chunks that would be dangerous to ingest. She loves this and I feel better knowing she's not chewing on something too hard that could break her teeth. I've purchased several and from the looks of her interest in chewing, this may be a repeat purchase until she gets through the chewing phase (I hope!)
