My dog loves these soft squeaky toysI have a 6 year golden retriever . She’s not hard on toys. We have a pool. She likes to swim (a lot). She already has a LOT of toys.This is her favorite. Why? It is lightweight . Very lightweight. She can easily squeeze it. Yeah, I threw it in the pool for her to retrieve...she loved that. The squeaker (which she also loved) stopped working after an hour or so in the pool. But she was already in a relationship with it...since it’s squeezable , the air that escapes still makes sounds and that seems good enough for her. She’s supposed to leave her pool toys outside but sneaks this into the house and even her bed often. I’d say it’s a win over here.I saw some complaints about this hilarious and fabulous fish...so here are my thoughts....REALLY? First of all, of course it was not designed with large dogs in mind...at least not all large dogs. I have two pomeranians and thus far...after a few weeks and really intensive playchasing, attacking, shaking and squeeking..I am pleased to say it is just as great as the day it arrived. The silliness of the design bringsme fairly endless happiness not only just sitting in the grass, but with my pup! I actually intend on buying a few more as back up. Also, for small dogs who love a squeek: these latex style toys work the best! My one little guy struggles to get stuffed animals and other toys withnoise makers to squeek as he has a small bite. Doesn't matter where you bite fish! :) (As an aside....this fish has also been quite the hit at the local university campus where I take them to play!)Dogs favorite toy.My 7 month old corgi pup is much stronger than her 17 pounds would indicate. She liked this toy immediately and started chewing on it. 10 minutes later I was fishing one of the tail fins out of her mouth. This toy is definitely not for ardent chewers.Nice product. My Yorkie loves this toy..would recommend.Nice and durable, perfect for our new puppy.My dog loves this! The best thing I have noticed is the somewhat "interaction" this toy gives. When it's slightly touched or bitten, it rolls/bounces around to give my dog the impression that "it's alive"! Seriously, she absolutely goes bonkers over this thing. It's been 3 months now and it is holding up very well.
