Disponibile nelle misure grande (L) e piccola (S).
Entertaining roll and flip action
Dispenses food and treats
Ideal for independent play
We got one a few months ago and he chewed into the red ring pretty quickly. He loves the toy and it slows down his eating. He finally killed it entirely last week so we ordered another one. I am not sure how long this will last but if he enjoys it we will continue to replace it.Got this for my rescue dog. 4 years old and does not know how to play with toys, until this toy came into her life. I put her dog food and a couple of treats and she loves it. She has figured out how to do so many things with this. She wore it out after a couple of months and had to buy another. Love it. It will probably last u longer as this is the only thing she plays with!My 2 smart GSDs are entertained for long periods of time playing with this toy by trying to get the treat out of the blue ball in the center. That part is great -- they love it! The downside is that the one dog likes to chew on the red ring when the treats run out. He doesn't eat the pieces, but enjoys chewing it up! Nothing lasts forever, so I bought 2 more toys since they stay occupied with it. Just keep an eye on it if your dog is a chewer!I love that my silver lab enjoys eating his meals with this! Especially because it slows him down and keeps his mind occupied….Occasionally, he nudges it under furniture so I have to retrieve it for him. I do need to replace w/ a new one every 4-6 months, ‘cause his teeth marks make it hard to keep the lid closed.I purchased this dog treat toy for the KONG name, as durable. Clearly the photos show, it is not (Two side shown). It certainly does occupy her for about 30 minutes. (Until she eats all the treats) Then we have to take the toy from her, before she tears it up. Delta is a small to medium sized dog. Admittedly however, she really enjoys carrying it around and chewing on it.We got this for our Husky-mix puppy. She’s got teeth for days, and the jaw strength to match. As far as durability, you can’t beat the Kong toys. It was super fun to watch her play with it, shuffling it all over the living room and snacking on the dispensed treats. When she was done, I walked back into the room later and found our older dog, who is blind in one eye, pushing it around the floor too. She is our rescue dog that has never “played” in the traditional sense, but there she was, pushing, spinning, snacking and looking quite pleased. I’m too am pleased to find a toy that they both enjoy. This is a great step up from a standard Kong puzzle ball with one hole. I fill it with frozen veggies and my dog loves it. It keeps him occupied a little longer than a standard ball. It took him a couple tries to figure it out, but now he’s having a great time getting his snacks out. Great for when I need to occupy him for 30 minutes or so. Also cleaning is easy because the ball unscrews - so if they don’t get everything you can clean it easily. This toy didn't work for my dog because one of the posts that keeps the ball in place was broken when it arrived. Returned the item and received the refund the same day. I will check out their other products for a replacement just because their customer service was spot on.Firstly, my dogs are not chewers. They have never gnawed through any toy ever.I got the large size, though it was much chunkier than expected and my dogs are small terrier breeds. But this actually seems to have the added advantage that it's too big for them to pick up in their mouth and drop/crack/smash on the laminate floor. However, it is not at all heavy, so the dogs can push it about easily enough and it doesn't bang or clatter if flipped over. The ball in the large gyro is just a bit bigger than a large tennis ball. It has a finger sized hole for the food to drop out of. This hole has a staggered lip on the inside, which makes it a bit more challenging for the dog to get the food out. It also seems to stop the hole getting blocked, and prevents too much food falling out at once. One of my dogs is a smart cookie. The other one is . . . not. But both seem to have a good time with this toy, though they were initially a bit tentative of the size. Temptation soon won out, and they get braver with the toy each time they play with it.The ball unscrews to put the food in, and for cleaning. It screws and unscrews easily by hand, but the dogs have not managed to accidentally open it (something cheaper puzzle balls do, which spoils the fun). The red belt is a hard plastic, but light. It's too big for my little dogs to get their teeth around, but I could imagine this being an issue for bigger dogs that chew. KONG should probably release a heavy duty version with a red ring made of the same tough chewable rubber as it's original KONG range. The red ring is a hard, hollow plastic. The blue ball is a hard, transparent plastic. You can see how much kibble is inside the ball without needing to open it. It is surprisingly light. My two chihuahua X JRTs love shoving this toy around the kitchen with their noses, or smacking it about with their paws. It works well on smooth floors or low pile carpets. They're too small to pick it up, but they do gain quite a turn of speed on a smooth floor. The Gyro has been smacked about with paws and bashed into the walls a lot, but it doesn't seem to have taken any damage. It also hasn't left any damage on the hard furnishings. Always a bonus! It's really easy to clean and dry.A big hit with the furkids.I have a Geman Shepherd who loves puzzle toys but this one did not meet my expectations. The lip inside the ball to stop the treats just falling out is too high so he couldn't just roll it to get the treats. He then started throwing it, the ball is made of a really hard plastic so I ended up fearing for my wooden floor!I ended up having to break off one of the pieces to allow the treats to come out more easily. The ring surrounding the ball, in complete contrast to the ball is made of extremely soft plastic and just carrying it around leaves teeth marks., it wouldn't withstand any chewing. In my opinion it is a very badly designed toy, the plastics used should have been the rubber 'bouncy' type and the lip around the hole should have been lower so that treats drop out as the dog pushes it around, rather than flinging it around as my dog resorted to doing.Would not recommend, there are far better treat dispensing toys!Well, it seems a good idea at the time. its easy to fill and clean, and if your dog is not a chewer than this may be just the thing, it rolls and swirls just fine, the treats come out just in time before they loose interest, however my staffy girl chewed it apart within a day. should be made from different plastic like the wobbler version from kong. bit disappointed, shame for my staffy girl, she just loves a challenge....perfect for whippets and salukis though....if I wouldn't have the staffie I would buy it again....seems unfair to get another though if she can't have it...Updated: Was given another one.Up to 2-3 stars. The second one fared better. Whilst a lot of the red has been chewed off and the ball no longer revolves, our dog has learned to flip the toy over to release the treats and it does keep him entertained whilst there are still treats to get out, which is an improvement for a dog that destroys everything.Tried product after the mostly positive reviews. We have a staffie and this lasted less than an hour. The picture is after 30 mins of intermittently playing with it. Not durable. The blue centre ballwas gone within the hour so could not recommend for any dogs that chew. I guess he thought the easiest way to the treats was just to rip it open. Having the raised bits inside the blue ball around the hole may help stop the treats falling out as easy but I think it would be difficult to clean thoroughly. I didn't get the chance to test it.May be a good distraction or game for smaller dogs that don't chew.
