I got this for my toddler son and he LOVES them (I got the bus and flatbed). It's a very solid and sturdy toy that he'll enjoy for years to come.These things are solidly built and work smoothly. Also, they are big! My son can ride them around with ease (as I opened them and looked at the leaflet included, it said these are not riding toys as I looked over the room with my son already riding it around with glee!). Each one only includes 2 people, which is great for the flatbed and delivery truck, but not enough for the bus. I'm glad to see they sell the set of people now because when I purchased these I went to the manufacturers website and didn't see them there for purchase even.These may be pricier than cheap toys from a big-box stores, but these are also well built and will last a toddler's use of toys. Plus, they are just basic trucks so hopefully they'll inspire a bit more creativity without flashy lights and harsh sounds.
